All foreign travellers must be in possession of a passport with minimum validity of 6 months from the date of arrival and have proof of onward or return tickets.

For Entry to Bintan Resorts

Basic Requirements

1. Passport validity of at least 6 months
2. Return or one-way ticket to continue travelling to another country.

Free Visa Travel (have been extended to citizens of 13 countries)

Maximum 30 days stay and non-extendable.

Price of IDR 500,000 per person for maximum 30-days stay
For more than 30 days (renewable one time only), pay additional IDR 500,000 per person.

Free Visa for Singapore Permanent Residents Policy (Update: 22 May 2025)

The following categories of travelers are eligible for visa-free entry when traveling from Singapore to Bintan Resorts:

1. Singapore Permanent Residents (PRs)
  Individuals holding valid Permanent Resident (PR) status in Singapore, identifiable by a blue National Registration Identity Card (NRIC), are eligible for visa-free entry.Reminder: Eligible travelers must bring their Blue NRIC when visiting Bintan Resorts.
2. Spouses and Children of Singapore PRs (LTVP Holders)
  Spouses or children of Singapore PRs who hold a valid Long-Term Visit Pass (LTVP) issued by the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) of Singapore are eligible.Important: To qualify for visa-free entry, these individuals must enter together with the Singapore PR and present valid documents proving the family relationship, such as a marriage certificate, birth certificate, or family registration.
3. Student Pass Holders
  Foreign nationals currently studying in Singapore and holding a valid Student Pass issued by the Singapore government are also eligible for visa-free access.

Visitor Stay Permit

Upon arrival at Bintan Resorts, eligible travelers will be issued a Visitor Stay Permit via an immigration entry stamp. This permit allows a stay of up to four (4) days.

The permit is strictly non-extendable and cannot be converted to any other immigration status.

Riau Islands 7-day VOA Policy

- A new Visa on Arrival (VOA) valid for 7 days is now available for visitors to the Riau Islands, priced at IDR 250,000 per person.
- This visa facilitates entry for tourism and business purposes in designated areas.
- Not eligible for e-Visa; payment can only be made offline upon arrival at Bintan Resorts.
- The policy is effective from December 17, 2024.
